Iddo Hadar is the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Strategy Officer for Foundation Engineering at the Silicon Systems Group of Applied Materials, Inc., the global leader in nanomanufacturing technology™ solutions for the electronics industry. In this and previous roles, Mr. Hadar has worked on a broad range of strategic, economic, and technological initiatives for the semiconductor and electronics industries.
He has been a key spokesperson for the semiconductor equipment industry in the areas of economics, productivity, and technological change, including the impact of wafer diameter transition and the economics of RD&E investment.
Mr. Hadar, 46, joined Applied in 1994. Previously, he was a management consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton in its strategy practice, serving clients primarily in the aerospace, defense, and electronics industries. Previously he was a product manager with Microsoft Corp. and an independent marketing consultant.
Mr. Hadar holds an MBA from Stanford University and is a trained programmer and economist. He also teaches marketing and strategy courses at Stanford University.
